This hardware course will teach you to troubleshoot and repair basic PC hardware problems. Designing Advanced Websites with XML
This full day class is intended to help website developers and architects explore the three basic areas that have to be considered when designing websites using XML. From automatic HTML page creation and workflow control to data storage and online distribution, each structural component will be analyzed. The class first covers dynamic HTML creation using XML which involves building a single interface for authors, editors and reviewers. Secondly, the class discusses content management which involves storing website components, separating their content and structure from any formatting information to optimize re-use and facilitate dynamic distribution. Lastly, the lecture addresses content distribution which involves architecting multiple channels to deliver content to users including high-quality printed pages, wireless devices, electronic web pages and syndication engines.

Introduction to ASP (Active Server Pages)
This course provides an introduction to Active Server Pages used in Web Site Development. Students will work with Internet Information Server 5 (IIS5) Personal Web Server in Windows 2000 Professional operating system and use a text editor to code and test their pages. Some programming experience in VBScript will be helpful but is not required. Students should have some exposure to programming concepts and know basic HTML coding. Topics include: Setting up a Web Server for ASP; including ASP scripting in HTML; VBScript basics; coding techniques; request and response objects; processing HTML form data; reading from and writing to text data files and more. Introduction to Java
This course introduces the fundamentals of Java Programming based on the Java 2 Platform. The course includes topics appropriate for both applications and applets, however, it is designed more for the Web Developer wanting to integrate client side applets as opposed to standalone Java Applications. This course is appropriate for people with little or no programming experience, but it is recommended that students have basic web design or HTML knowledge. The first six chapters of the text book will be covered. Students will learn to work in the Forté for Java development environment (included on the CD with the book).
