Room Rental Procedures
Before making room, service and/or equipment reservations, you will need to make a number of decisions, as indicated by the procedures below.
1 - Select the appropriate room based on your training or meeting needs. Identify the following:
- The group size and number of rooms needed.
- The type(s) of room(s) needed (e.g., lab, classroom or conference room).
- The total time the room(s) will be in use including set-up and clean-up time requirements.
- The chair, table and audiovisual equipment requirements.
- The in-class food needs. (NOTE: Food and drink are not permitted in computer labs.)
- Your needs for any special services.
2 - Submit accurate information regarding scheduling and needs on the Building Use Request Form.
Download "Building Use Request Form." (.pdf)
Print and complete this form then fax it to 740-568-1912.
3 - Calculate room package rental costs, adding the cost of selected services and equipment to the base price of the room.
A current list of rental rates and prices can be found here.
Notes:
In accordance with Washington State Community College policy, Sunday room rentals will incur an additional fee due to overtime pay for staff. Rooms (not including equipment or services) could range from $225 to $300 for eight hours.
A 25% surcharge will apply for rescheduling of rooms, equipment, and/or programs.
Charges for technical support will be assessed based upon the complexity of the setup and tear-down requirements of your room, service and equipment rentals. Additional charges for special setup/tear-down arrangements (i.e., those that go beyond standard arrangements) may be assessed.
All audiovisual services are coordinated through Microcomputer Support and a WSCC AV specialist. To coordinate AV equipment requests contact Bobbie Bice .
